AT ArtzyKids, we provide a fun, safe, and enriching art experience for the kids. Our program meets or exceeds the National Standards for Arts Education (NAEA), the largest creative community established exclusively for visual arts educators, university professors, researchers and scholars, teaching artists, administrators, and art museum educators.
ArtzyKids is a member of The National AfterSchool Association, the leading voice of the after-school profession dedicated to the development, education and care of children and youth during their out-of-school hours. We strongly uphold strict ethical conduct when handling our art classes without sacrificing the fun and excitement when doing art activities.
As an after-school professional:
We demonstrate the highest standard of individual conduct, personal accountability, trustworthiness, integrity, fairness, consideration of the rights of others and the highest principles of good business practices and relationships.
We understand that every individual is a unique and valuable asset to the after-school community.
We design environments and activities based on the knowledge of how children grow and learn.
We develop programs that strive to build a strong community among children where play is maximized, children and youth are empowered, self-esteem and maturity is guided, and self-discipline is taught and encouraged.
We also provide opportunities that enhance individual uniqueness, positive choice, critical thinking, creativity, curiosity and a love of learning.
